You Are My Sunshine

You are my sunshine has special memories from when I was younger. I've wanted a song that Chloe can associate with going to sleep - whether hummed or sung. I didn't realize that the song has been around for over 70 years! So many covers of this song :)

Singing this song numerous times to Chloe has been one of the highlights of my day. There are so many highlights though. Chloe has been such a happiness blessing in our family. She continues to surprise us with how much she learns in her teeny tiny body.

Here are some of the things she's learned in the past little while AND just some fun photos :)

When she first started giggling it was almost as if she had such intense emotions, but couldn't quite figure out how she was supposed to express those. It was so fun and enjoyable to watch her learn to fully giggle - I think she's got it :P

She's also learned how to roll over from her back to her tummy. She doesn't like being on her tummy very much, but she hasn't figured out rolling over from her tummy to her back, so it's hard not to laugh at how frustrated she gets once she's rolled over.
We woke up to her COMPLETELY out of her swaddle
...and not very happy about her current situation :P
Chloe also LOVES her hands. She is constantly trying to get both of her fists into
her tiny little mouth.

...but when she's not trying to shove those hands into her mouth,
they proudly just sit right by her lips in case she is in need of them :)

One other thing that surprised us is how much leg strength Chloe has!
She's still quite wobbly, but it's adorable to see her face light up when she
can stand for a couple seconds (with daddy's help of course).

We love this little Sunshine of ours :) she has continued to keep happiness in our
home and we couldn't be more excited for the adventures to come with this little one!

Her 3 month photos that I forgot to post a couple weeks back :)

That TONGUE!! :)

One in a million shots! She doesn't like being on her tummy very often :P

Hehe the drool on the left side of her mouth :) LOVE IT!
