So this seemed like a good intro video - I apologize in advance if you've already seen it, but for those who have not seen it, it's in real time, which is why I talked so you knew that I didn't speed up the video or anything :)
More photos of this storm later in this post :)
Alright, now onto what we've been up to.
A couple of weeks ago the women in our Church ward (also known as the Relief Society) organized a "friendship" dinner to welcome the women that have just recently joined the Church or our Ward, and therefore are in need of friends :)
Because some of these women were in need of babysitting for the night, the men organized a babysitting room and asked a couple men to come help. Jared volunteered and had a blast. Just a few photos I caught at the end of the night . . . they were obviously getting more and more creative as the night went on.
Because it's been getting cooler and, soon to be, too cold to go outside, we decided to take a stroll/"rigorous" walk downtown. It was a little chilly in the morning, but nothing beats getting up before the sun to go down and see the sunrise :)

Jared wants to be clear that it was the kids' ideas to blind fold themselves with the paper towels and run around the room - - very safe I know :P

Oh and here are some of the photos that I was able to take of the thunderstorm/lightning storm we had on our drive home a couple of days prior to our adventures downtown. This storm happened at about 1030pm or so and if we weren't driving home, we probably would have been inside and missed this beautiful storm - the quality isn't the best, but the storm lit up the whole sky.
And of course . . .
THIS . . .
is what it looked like the next day . . . clear blue skies and about 80 degrees :)
we LOVE Austin
